Experiences- a Variety of Them
Updated: Jan 27
I have had a variety of experiences. I had a newspaper route while I was homeschooled in Middle School and High School. I worked at a Baptist Conference Center in 2002, in Housekeeping. It was challenging. While working there, in a program for young people, I went on a rafting trip, which I would like to repeat, but preferably on a Sunny Day! :) Last year in 2017, I went on my first International trip to China. Had a good time, but kind of had enough spicy food. :) And now I'm trying a blogging venture.
I should add something far more significant: at about age 18 and a half, after being resisting and stubborn through my teenage years, God got a hold of me and I became a Christian in January, 1997.
In the summer of 2000, my family and I went on a road trip through about six states besides my home state. We went to a park in Wyoming, Kirt Goudy. Then we went into Wyoming to Grand Teton National Park and Devil's Tower. We then proceeded to the beautiful, grand Glacier National Park in Montana. On the way to a family event in Iowa, we drove through the Badlands in South Dakota. While we were at my grandparent's fiftieth wedding anniversary party, our van was being fixed for a bent cylinder. We had driven through Glacier on 7 cylinders instead of 8 in our family van carrying 7 people and some luggage and food. Oh, and I have to add, we camped at least the first 7 nights, having some wind or rain, or both, each night. Look for my America's National Parks Blog Post written in August 2019.
